“Amoureux” means “in love.” Just like in English, you can fall in love (tomber amoureux) or be in love (être amoureux).
Je suis amoureuse de mon mari (I am in love with my husband.)
Il est tombé amoureux de moi au premier regard (He fell in love with me at the first sight.)
One more thing: do you remember the song “Crazy In Love?” That works in French as well!
Martin est fou amoureux de Lola (Martin is crazy in love with Lola.)
