In English, people say “go to a movie,” but in French you can’t say that. You would say “aller au cinéma,” which literally means “go to the movie theatre.”
J’aimerais aller au cinéma samedi soir (I would like to go to a movie on Saturday night.)
Tu veux aller au cinéma avec moi ? (Do you want to go to a movie with me?)
